Your Contribution
You will play a central role in collaborating with various initiatives to define the overarching strategy for sourcing the merchandise portfolio. Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated new merchandise partner onboarding strategy and process, building on existing foundation and determining optimal assortment offering to maximise revenue and profitability growth
  • Set assortment expansion goals and targets and closely manage the inputs to fill open selection gaps in our catalogue, collaborating with key stakeholders across the EComm team on opportunities
  • Drive pricing and terms negotiations with vendors, coaching and developing team around negotiations and persuasive communication skills along the way
  • Infuse analytics into our merchandise strategy to drive both strategic and day-to-day decisions, utilizing a combination of internal purchase and site metrics, market data and trends, and competitive analyses
  • Build and drive a robust merchandise expansion strategy that incorporates culturally appropriate assortments that excite and delight our clients balanced with sourcing plan that delivers on scale and margin goals
  • Build, manage, and mentor a team of Sourcing Specialists &/or Managers to deliver on growth

The Senior Vendor Sourcing Manager Role is For You if you:
  • 7+ years of Retail / E-Commerce / Merchandising or Consulting experience with an excellent ability to negotiate and manage relationships with key stakeholders and C-suite level contacts from large companies
  • Proven experience in vendor sourcing and negotiations
  • P&L / general management experience is ideal
  • Entrepreneurial leader who can both set the vision and the plan and execute on the details and get the job done
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills along with creative & innovating problem-solving
  • Experience leading and developing a highly skilled team of negotiators & decision-makers
